The Speaker was begun in late 2013 on  TheSpeaker.co . It is a news organization. It's purpose is to promote quality news that is not being reported or is under-reported elsewhere, while making the most important news of the day (which is reported widely) very accessible and understandable in the lightest, most concise form possible. We are responsive to our readers. Contact us about any news-related concern. Staff   We have/have had around 50 journalists, photojournalists, experts, and contributors over the years. Currently we are very small, though, and are focusing on this light-form-plus-interesting-stories news journal, but will be adding video news segments to this site in the near future.
